Vedic meditation was first brought to the West in the 1960s by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and quickly became a keystone of the cultural revolution’s “spiritual wing” (The Beatles famously wrote The White Album at Maharishi’s Ashram in India). Regardless of this glamorous history, Vedic Meditation is a simple practice designed for everyday busy people. It is an ancient technique of the Shankaracharyas (India’s “Kings of the Yogis”), tested and refined for thousands of years, and fully adapted to our modern needs.
The technique has been fine-tuned for maximum efficiency and ease, requiring just 20-minutes of practice twice daily. It releases lifetimes of accumulated stress from the nervous system, liberating our minds into new levels of energy, creativity, calm and general well-being. Learning takes just four 90-minute sessions and support from the teacher is provided for a lifetime.
Cost is a sliding scale of $500-900, depending on income.
